The International MMA Expo, also known as “IMMAE” is pleased to announce that their first event is schedule to be held at the Long Beach Convention Center August 1st thru 3rd 2008. IMMAE is an industry trade show and consumer exposition showcasing the fastest growing sport in American history, Mixed Martial Arts. In the past few years Mixed Martial Arts has exploded on the scene with a force and momentum not yet seen from an American based spectator sport. MMA has brought not only a highly charged adrenaline pumping spectator attraction, but an entire culture complete with fashion trends and highly popular name brands. Behind this culture is a strong and diverse industry which is exploding in 2008 and is showing no signs of slowing. IMMAE is positioning itself to be the hub of this international industry and community, and is building a solid base for a long term value proposition for its exhibitors and partners. IMMAE daily sessions are divided into 2 distinct types, each with a specific set of goals and value proposition for exhibitors and attendees Focused on commerce and networking, IMMAE’s industry and trade sessions are designed to create an environment conducive to researching new products and services, negotiating purchase orders, and forming new business relationships. The atmosphere will more naturally support these types of business activities without the hustle and bustle of the excited consumer and fan base on the floor. The sport of Mixed Martial Arts cannot exist without eager consumers and fans that put their heart and spirit into the sport. The retail and consumer sessions allow the public to experience MMA first hand and even get up close and personal with some of the top athletes. For many people this mixed martial arts expo will be their first real exposure to the industry and a great educational experience. Some of the top athletes and most well known celebrities are expected including the Tapout Crew, Tito Ortiz, and Tim “the Maine-iac” Sylvia, who is set to fight Fedor Emelianenko this summer in Orange County, California. The entire weekend will be packed with activities for the mixed martial arts enthusiasts including the US Submission Open Grappling Tournment and the Long Beach International Karate Championships.
