General Information
The huge developments witnessed nowadays in the International Transportation industry have prompted many countries to reconsider their transportation polices; drawing plans and programs to accomplish their attempted goals. The Great Jamahiriya, with its geographical position in Africa, and its vicinity to the south of Europe, as well as, its central location in the Arab world, gives it the advantage of being a main station to all the above mentioned. Thus, came the necessity to establish a Railway network. This national project will not only achieve several social and economical advantages, but will also open up new prospects in the area in the fields of economical and industrial exchange between the countries in the area. So in support of this strategic national project, came the organization of the “ First Libyan Railway Exhibition and accompanying conference” to be held in the Great Jamahiriya from 11th – 13th June 2010. This event will be an opportunity for International participations to introduce their latest products, and for the interexchange of expertise and technologies for all involved dealing with this sector. Therefore, we are honoured to invite you to participate and visit this gathering for the cause of a better developed International Railway Transportation Industry.
